ENGINE : Repair estimate to include failed parts and causation. Coverage limited to the following parts
Cylinder heads, intake manifold when damaged by an internally lubricated part. Internally lubricated parts to include: oil pump, hydraulic valve lifters, rocker arms, camshaft. Crankshaft, rod bearings, pistons. Timing belt, timing chain, variable valve timing components are not covered.
Discontinued and limited production motors require pre approval. Pre existing conditions, fluid or contamination leaks not covered nor is any subsequent damage cause from their origin.
TRANSMISSION : Repair estimate to include failed parts and causation. Coverage limited to the following parts
Automatic- pump, clutches, bands, carrier assembly, torque converter, valve body.
Manual – main shaft, counter shaft, internal bearings, shift fork, and all gears, transfer unit 4×4 case
Pre existing conditions, fluid or contamination leaks not covered nor is any subsequent damage caused from their origin.
AIR CONDITIONING : Coverage limited to these parts – compressor, clutch, dryer and accumulator if they have failed. (exclusions: lubricating oils).
Expansion valve, evaporator, heater core.
BRAKE PARTS : Coverage limited to these parts – master cylinder, wheel cylinders, calipers, ABS brake system mechanical components, vacuum power assist booster.
(exclusions: drums, rotors, brake pads, linings, hydraulic pumps).
COOLING SYSTEM : Coverage limited to these parts – electric fan motor independent of fan assembly, manual water pump, fan clutch, thermostat and radiator. (exclusions: cooling fluid).
DRIVE AXLE : Coverage limited to these internal parts: rear wheel bearings, pinion bearings, side carrier bearings, ring and pinion, side gears, spider gears, thrust washers and spacers, housing only when damaged by an internally lubricated part. Drive shaft, universal joints, front constant velocity joints only if broken.
Lubricating or dust protective boots are not covered for any rips tears or cracks, no exceptions.
ELECTRICAL : Coverage limited to these parts – Solenoid and drive assembly, power seat motor only, excludes assembly, power door actuators, power window motor independent of window actuator, starter motor, front and rear window wiper motor, alternator, generator, voltage regulator, electric horn, field coil and rotor, ignition coil, ignition module, turn signal switch.
FUEL & EMISSION SYSTEM : Coverage limited to these parts- Engine temperature sensor, manifold absolute pressure sensor, manifold air temperature sensor, mechanical fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator.
Camshaft/crank position sensors, throttle position sensor, baro sensor, oxgen sensor, coolant temp sensor, vehicle speed sensor, ECM, cruise control module, injectors, fuel pressure regulator.
SEALS AND GASKETS : Seals and gaskets are only covered when required in conjunction with the replacing a covered component. Over heating of engine does not qualify for a covered claim. Any other fluid, coolant, combustion or vacuum leak will be at Warranty companies discretion, no exceptions
STEERING AND SUSPENSION : Rack & pinion, if damaged by the failure of internally lubricated parts. Rack & pinions are not covered for any fluid leaks, no exceptions. Leaf and coil springs only if broken, steering gear box and hydraulic pump housings, Ball joints independent of control arm, spindle, spindle support, exclusions air leveling suspension system
LABOR AND DIAGNOSTICS : To repair or replace a covered component, charges will be based on current Identifix warranty labor guide times of up to $110.00 an hour.
Diagnostic charges will be covered up to one hour on approved claims only.
RENTAL BENEFITS : The Service Contract Holder will be reimbursed up to $50.00 a day for each eight hours of Identifix warranty/factory labor guide time to repair or replace the covered component if proof of rental is provided. Diagnostic or down time, regardless of reason is not included.
EMERENGENCY ROAD SERVICE : 24-hour emergency road service is provided when Your Vehicle is malfunctioning as long as this Contract is in effect, and is available only by calling 1-866-330-0760 (limit one tow per disablement). Your Producer Code 85711, your Member Number which is the last six digits of VIN number and your Plan Letter which is “U (25 Miles)”. Includes: towing, jump start, fuel, oil and water delivery, tire changes and lockout assistance.
